+ many more stakeholders involved
Revolut is the ultimate financial super app, designed to change the way people money around the globe. As the product reached multiple milestones, including hitting 50+ million customers worldwide, I worked with a global team of creatives, copywriters, PMMs, external comms managers, social media managers and financial stakeholders to bring to life one of the most important projects for the business - the annual review.
My responsibilities involved leading on all things design for this project, from website design and animation, to infographic design and building new editorial guidelines in line with new brand and working on annual report with multiple departments and dozens of stakeholders involved. All aspects of the project come together under a single vision - celebrating each milestone Revolut hit in the last year together with it's customers.
Challenge + Project Goals
This year was bigger and better than ever for Revolut, which means the yearly campaign needed to reflect that. While communications around the impressive financial achievements are important, we shifted focus to our customers what comes to website landing page and in-app comms.
This year we aimed to make things feel more interactive, despite web limitations, incorporating more animation than ever before. This meant a lifestyle focused landing page full of infographics, showing off not just impressive growth and relevant retail product launch highlights, but also highlights for business and the dream team working on the product as well.
We worked tirelessly to make sure all aspects of the website were localised, making the content relevant to each global user reading from wherever they are.
Editorial Design
Working on editorial design, we shifted this years layout from portrait to landscape as it is better suited for a digital read.
Reporting normally is fairly stale and dry, I aimed to challenge and change that this year, making sure we incorporated a more editorial magazine approach to it's design. This created a visually rich and engaging editorial document, full of beautiful layouts and striking brand visuals.
This approach was solidified via development of custom Editorial Brand Guidelines, making sure that in the future the brand can show up consistently across this touch point.
